The primary objective of the training programs in Category-2 is to learn how to build a customer-focused value chain that drives values throughout all processes from end to end. This is attained by understanding how to redesign manufacturing processes to obtain dramatic improvements in critical real-time performance measurements related to cost, qualityand speed in meeting customer demands, as well as in areas related to organizational goals.Upon the design of the customer-focused value chain, the manufacturing workforce must be adapted to the new system and concepts through a capacity building program to develop workforce’ abilities.
