Synopsis

This program emphasizes the concepts and techniques of organizing and managing of manufacturing processes in Modern organizations. It is designed to highlight the practical and applied modern techniques and tools which can improve the organization's overall performance. The candidates will have better understanding of the management and manufacturing concepts and their influence on overall business performance while gaining knowledge about how to lead and manage the entire supply chain successfully.


Overview

Tomorrow’s factory must be able to stay competitive and flexible in response to ever greater customer sourcing demands. It must be ready to serve its customers faster and more efficiently but still maintain or increase its profits. Enhancing productivity is therefore more important than ever before. But factories can no longer incur excessive overtime as they struggle to meet daily targets. The high cost of operations which are inflexible, inefficient and poorly managed must be addressed. Many factories are led by managers who possess many years of on-the-job technical experience but who lack managerial skills. They are also not equipped with the scientific knowledge required for efficient manufacturing in the modern digital age.


Manufacturers need to understand the importance of effective manufacturing / production management and to develop managers equipped to ensure the organization is able to reach and sustain its goals.


This workshop covers all the drivers of efficient lean manufacturing and financial performance and aims to provide the appropriate knowledge and modern techniques to potential factory / production managers so that they can excel and lead more effectively. The program will provide a clear view on how processes/operations should be managed using illustrated tools and techniques that are commonly referred to as “Modern Management Tools in the Era of Just-in-Time”.



Course Outcomes



To ensure successful Lean manufacturing concept, the internal structure of the management system must fit and integrated in each activity. Sufficient utilization of resources and equipment must be guaranteed without cost-intensive over lack of performance.


The primary objective of the management system remains to daily engagement in removing obstacles and dealing with daily challenging in order to maintain the continuous flow on track, more efficient and more profitable.


The attendees will learn the effects of Lean manufacturing systems and structure on all areas of the manufacturing Management and its methods of planning, targeting, controlling and adjusting and also be able to recognize the different aspects in management that needed to be adjusted and fit in line with the Lean philosophy and structure.


In addition, the attendees will learn how to strategize the areas that affect Just In time and what action to be taken and how to overcome the Gap toward a modern hands-on operations management and Control while improving daily processes and practices.


Also, be able to develop and deploy tactical and operational plan to a better growth and cost reduction. The program will provide a clear view on how operations should be managed today with an illustration of tools and techniques that both implement and support the lean and agile manufacturing. These techniques are more generally called Modern Management tools in the era of just in time. Overall, the attendees will realize the way of thinking and supporting toward overall sustained performance.
